1. Introduction
TinyTune (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) is operated by an independent individual developer based in Vietnam. TinyTune is a music-generation app that turns your text into short songs. The App is designed to minimize data collection and does not require you to create an account. This policy explains what information is involved when you use TinyTune and how it is handled.
2. Information We Collect
Message text & lyrics
The text you enter is sent to our music-generation service to create your song. To generate and deliver your song, your message text and the lyrics derived from it are stored temporarily on our server for the duration of processing and are removed once they are no longer needed. We do not use your message text to build a profile of you, and it is not linked to your identity.
Generated audio
Your generated song is produced on our server and stored there temporarily so it can be delivered to your device. Once delivered, the copy on your device is what you keep, play, and share; the temporary server-side copy is removed when it is no longer needed. We do not maintain a permanent library of your songs.
Analytics & diagnostics
We use analytics and crash-reporting tools (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics) to understand device information, app performance, and general usage patterns. These tools do not receive the text of your messages.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed through your device’s app store. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Technical data
Certain technical information — such as IP address, device identifiers, and coarse location — may be collected automatically by the services we use to operate and secure the App.
Abuse prevention
To protect the service from abuse, the App uses the Google Play Integrity API to check that requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the App on a genuine Android device. This check is processed by Google and does not involve the text of your messages.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above to generate your songs, operate and secure the App, monitor performance, measure engagement, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Third-Party Services
TinyTune relies on third-party providers for analytics and crash reporting (Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics), abuse prevention (Google Play Integrity), and payments (your device’s app store). Song generation runs on infrastructure operated for TinyTune. Each third-party provider processes data under its own privacy policy. By using TinyTune, you acknowledge that data necessary to provide these features may be processed by these providers.
5. Children’s Privacy
TinyTune is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data Retention
Your message text, the lyrics derived from it, and your generated song are stored on our server only temporarily — for as long as needed to generate and deliver your song — and are then removed. We do not keep a permanent library of your messages or songs. Beyond this, we retain only limited technical and analytics data used to operate and improve the App.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to make a request.
9. International Users
TinyTune is operated from Vietnam, and the third-party services it relies on may process data in other countries. By using TinyTune, you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
